Hypafix dressing retention tape is a self-adhesive, non-woven tape ideal for wide-area dressing fixation. It can be easily cut to the required shape and size, making it particularly useful over joints and on extremities. Known for its high comfort levels, Hypafix provides both ease of use during application and virtually painless removal.
The tape features a polyester non-woven backing and low-allergy polyacrylate adhesive, ensuring good initial and long-term adhesion. It can be cut to the desired size, minimizing waste, and its transverse stretch allows excellent conformability, even on contoured body areas like the knee, elbow, and shoulder.
Hypafix offers complete primary dressing coverage, reducing the risk of contamination, and is air and moisture vapor permeable. It is also designed for virtually painless removal without leaving adhesive residue. Hypafix is ideal for the fixation of instruments, probes, and catheters, particularly useful over joints and extremities. It comes in a 2.5cm x 10m roll, with one roll per pack.
